Mobility for Empowerment
"Open the app, hail a taxi."
What was once a novel experience has now become a natural part of everyday life, making mobility more accessible than ever.
Our journey began with the creation of Japan’s first taxi-hailing app.
Since then, following the business integration of two organizations with distinct histories and cultures,
we have continued to grow under our mission, "Mobility for Empowerment"
This progress has been made by the invaluable support of our users,
taxi operators, drivers, business partners, shareholders, employees, and all other stakeholders who have placed their trust in us.
At the same time, Japan is facing profound structural challenges.
Population decline and labor shortages are accelerating, while new mobility challenges are emerging one after another.
Although digital technology has already begun to transform the way people move, our work has only just begun.
To pass Japan’s world-class transportation and logistics networks on to future generations—and to make them even stronger—
we must now take on a broader responsibility
With our public listing marking an important milestone, GO now stands at a new starting point.
Looking ahead to our next stage of growth, we have established a new mid-term vision:"Driving Japan Forward"
As our role in society expands, we are committed to reinvesting the value created through our growth into solving social issues across Japan. This is not only our responsibility. It is our promise to all of our stakeholders.
To realize this vision, we will focus on delivering value to society through three key pillars.
1. Accelerating the Evolution of Mobility as an E-hail App Pioneer
GO has supported approximately 500 million taxi rides to date. Building on the technology we have pioneered and our nationwide network of taxi operators, we will continue to enhance convenience and value for both users and operators. We aim to be a driving force behind the continued evolution of mobility in Japan—creating a future where users, drivers, and operators can all feel that mobility is becoming better.
2. Upgrading to a Sustainable Industrial Foundation and Supporting Transition to the Next-Generation
The transition to next-generation mobility—including autonomous driving and Green Transformation—will bring both opportunity and significant burden to frontline operators, particularly taxi operators. We will help mitigate these burdens through strategic investments, and our proprietary technology and network. Together with our partners, we will support the evolution of the industrial foundation that underpins mobility in Japan.
We will also address broader challenges facing the mobility industry, including corporate governance, energy management, and the restructuring of logistics networks. Through these efforts, we aim to help build a more resilient and sustainable mobility ecosystem.
3. Supporting Individual Lives and Building a Society Where Everyone Can Live with Peace of Mind
By applying our network and expertise, GO will help create a society where everyone can move with greater safety and peace of mind. We will pursue diverse forms of mobility that respond to regional challenges, improving traffic safety through technology, and expanding access to transportation.
The Future We Envision
The future we envision is one in which mobility is no longer a constraint,
but a source of vitality—enabling people to connect freely with society, regardless of physical limitations and anxieties.
We aim to make this seamless experience a reality in every corner of society.
The work we undertake over the next 10 to 20 years may shape the quality of life and prosperity of future generations.
We are standing at a historic turning point for the mobility industry.
GO will not turn away from this responsibility. We will confront the societal challenge of sustainability head-on.
This journey cannot be accomplished by GO alone.
It depends on deep trust with all of our stakeholders: the taxi operators and drivers who support daily mobility across Japan,
the users who rely on our services, and the shareholders and investors who believe in our vision.
We will continue to nurture the initiatives we have built together and give shape to value that serves society.
We promise to fulfill our mission as the essential mobility infrastructure that supports Japan,
and to move forward to help shape the future of mobility in Japan.
